My Photography Life

Per Arne Kjelsvik

So, hi there!

Been quite a while since I’ve posted anything. I guess I just didn’t find the time or need to, but I want to be a bit more active, so here you go. Here’s another10th post!

The time-lapse itself isn’t much to speak of really, but I had fun making it, even if I had to manually turn the lever of the dolly in-between each shot. It’s a school project I did spring 2012.

Hi! Time for another 10th post! As stated earlier, I want every 10th post to be something else than photography. This is a design I did for a school project while studying in England. Nothing great, but it was my first proper graphic design assignment, and I liked the overall result (I also made a review for this project, maybe I’ll post that later). What do you think? Could this pass as a proper game magazine in a shop?
I would also like to thank all of my 34 followers - you’re great! This is my 30th post, and although I don’t post too often, I appreciate that some people care for my work. And if you’re just visiting, feel free to leave a note. Thank you!  Per Arne Kjelsvik Tumblr Photography

Hello! I think I want every 10th post to be special, like a video or something else I have made (if possible). Perhaps just some thoughts. Ten posts ago, I posted an experimental edit I did. I just answered a lovely comment from Olga (who takes excellent photos), which could have been a special 10th post I suppose, but I think I will exclude asks from “special posts”.

Right! So, here’s a 12-hour time-lapse I made for a school project called Time. Can read more about the process on the Vimeo URL, but it resulted in 1440 photos from 6.30 in the morning to 6.30 in the evening. I took the pictures every 30 seconds. It’s my first time-lapse, and obviously, it has its faults. But next time, I will use what I learned from making this time-lapse! So, until next time!

As I mentioned in a picture I took of this bee earlier, I also recorded some of it. I had some fun editing this together. I normally won’t post anything besides photography, but every now and then there might be something like this. Like it?
